Ski

The ski slopes of Valmalenco are set in a beautiful setting, with a 360° view and the sun that illuminates the snow throughout the day. During each descent you can admire a different view, with the Bernina standing proud and a view of the whole valley.
In the same context you will also find two cross-country skiing circuits, one 14 km long and one close to the village, illuminated in the evening.
Beginners can take their first lessons with the ski instructors of the large ski school while the more experienced can have fun in the Palù Park, the snow park that in 2008 hosted the finals of the junior world freestyle cup.

Ski mountaineering

In Valmalenco you can also try ski mountaineering or, if you are already experienced, test yourself by reaching the various mountain huts at high altitude and then enjoy the well deserved descent, in a breathtaking setting and with the sun that will illuminate your trail all day long.

Freeride and heliski

Off-piste skiing in fresh snow always attracts skiers of all ages and levels of experience. In Valmalenco you can also choose to go with alpine guides or ski instructors, for a wonderful and safe descent. In addition, for those who want to try a really special experience, there is the heliski: a helicopter will take you to the top of the mountain where a guide will act as trailblazer to help you descend to the valley.

Snowshoes

Breaking trail with snowshoeing is an excellent idea for those who want to discover nature and the wonderful views of Valmalenco. You can choose the trail that best suits your needs, from the simplest ones for beginners to the most demanding ones for experts, and reward yourself on arrival with lunch in a mountain hut.
